We are proud to be an independent small business situated right in the heart of the beautiful stone town of Stamford in Lincolnshire, England.
We have been described as an Aladdin's cave as we have A LOT of varied and unusual stock!
Our shop in
Cheyne Lane is a little Victorian building, sitting neatly between popular and lively restaurants.
From the main
High Street, pop down the alleyway opposite "Seasalt" and we can be found about half way down.
Cheyne Lane is a very narrow medieval thoroughfare with lots of history, so don't
miss it!

We're not large, fancy dealers, we like to choose our items carefully and individually because we think it is important to supply the very best quirky, and traditional, items to our customers.

Good To Remember :
Some of our stock collections are seasonal, such as Christmas & Halloween, of course, and you will find a greater variety of vintage gardening items in the spring & autumn. Our retro bar area is open all year round, just busier and more varied at Christmas, and there are lots of other items in store that are not mentioned in detail above! Whenever you visit, you can be assured of a shop packed to the ceiling with treasures and surprises, and price tags to suit every pocket!

All items are sold as seen, and any returns requiring refund are at our discretion. Please note that antique and vintage items are from a bygone era and will always show signs of age and use. We know all of our items very well indeed and they will have been checked with you before money is exchanged.
We do not reserve items without payment. Payment is requested at the point of sale

Payment can be made with most credit and debit cards or associated device.

We do not sell certain items to persons under 18 YEARS OF AGE who are not accompanied by an adult over 18 years and above. Items include knives, scissors, tools, cigarette lighters, other tobacciana, mechanical toys,
and medical equipment.

Vintage Toys
Where vintage toys are concerned, these sales are aimed at collectors. Should you be purchasing for a child please ensure that you understand there may be small parts and sharp edges. Some mechanical toys may not work as well as they once did and could be dangerous.

By their very nature our goods are recycled and we encourage this further by showing buyers alternative uses for most of our items. We are a low plastic retailer. All of our packaging is recyclable except for sticky tape and we utilise used packaging wherever possible.

An item on our shop website or instore can be reserved with full non-refundable payment and this is via Paypal or cash/card payment in the shop. It is the buyer's responsibility to collect the item from our main shop within 5 days and to take our advice when moving and handling heavy or bulky items.

Refunds are at our discretion and we look at cases individually. We reserve the right to not refund customers if the item differs from the condition in which it left the shop.

In store, we accept cash payments, and card payments both chip and pin, and contactless. The Corn Exchange Cafe and Shops has its own similar methods of payment. Payment for an item priced £10 or under must be cash, not card.
If you are paying remotely for your purchases you must have a Paypal account, or pay in store by any of the above methods. We do not accept payments over the phone due to the risk of scamming.
